Dear Student, You are requested NOT TO REFRESH or click the BACK BUTTON during the process of booking your room. If you do so the room will not be booked even after the amount is debited from your bank account.

Online Hostel Booking (AY : 2021-22)


  • To make changes if any to the allotted room based on valid reasons.
  • To club the inmates of any two partially filled rooms into one room as per room type selected by the student after completion of the entire booking process.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Dear Students, We request you to avoid repeated payment attempts (like Entering into Payment Gateway & Cancelling it). Otherwise, your next booking attempt will be restricted upto 72 Hours automatically.
Note: If the Hostel booking is NOT UPDATED in your HBS dashboard, then kindly send us an E-MAIL to planning@veltechmultitech.org / planning@velhightech.com, mention your VM/VH/VA No. & Online Transaction Details clearly.

Guide to Hostel Booking System (HBS)

Option 1 : Semester Fee /Annual Fee Payment

  • Book your hostel at the earliest through HBS.
  • Use your VM/VH/VA No. as your Username and SID No. as your Password to login to the system.
  • You can change your password at a later date, as per your liking.
  • The student may select the Hostel, followed by the block and then the Floor.
  • After selecting the Room Type, Sharing and the Room Number, HBS will display the current occupancy status of the room.
  • Student can select the room number based on the availability. If the room is occupied, the room number will not be displayed.
  • After selecting the room number, the student can proceed to pay the Hostel Fee(Annual/Semeter) online using Credit / Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI ID, Paytm Wallet etc.
  • On successful payment, the booking details will be displayed in the dashboard under Room Details tab.
  • The room will be confirmed only on the receipt of the full/part payment of the hostel fee against the selected room type.
  • The student/parent using HBS to book the room should furnish their Mobile No. and E-mail ID, on completing the payment process they will receive an instant message regarding booking status to the mobile number and email id furnished.
  • Change of Room is permitted Only Once Per Semester after the booking confirmation from HBS.
  • Change of Room from a Higher to a Lower room category is not possible.
  • Change of room from a Lower to Higher category is possible on paying the fee difference for the semester(through Feehive).

  • After making a successful payment(Annual/Semester - Hostel Fee), Please make sure that your desired hostel room has been booked & Confirmation receipt is available in your HBS Dashboard.

Guide to Hostel Booking System (HBS)

Option 2 : Two stage payment (part payment of SEM Fee) for STANDARD ROOMS

  1. Use your VM/VH/VA No. as your username and SID No. as your password to login to the system.
  2. You can change your password at a later date, as per your liking.
  3. Choose the tab "Two Stage Payment" to make the part payment of SEM Fee (Rs. 20,000/-) on two different days.
  4. The tab will redirect you to the Paytm payment gateway. Pay Rs. 20,000/- (plus GST) using your Debit Card/ Credit Card / Net banking / UPI ID / Paytm Wallet/Postpaid etc.
  5. After the completion of first installment, student/Parent will receive SMS /Email from Paytm IPG to their registered mobile number /email id confirming the Receipt of the amount. To pay the balance amount of Rs.20, 000/- choose the tab "Two Stage Payment” once again on another day and complete the two stage payment process.
  6. After completing 2 Payments worth Rs.40,000 /-, click "Book Hostel" tab to book the desired STANDARD ROOM. The Option of booking the desired standard room will be possible only on completion of step 4 & 5.
  7. The student/ Parent may select the hostel, followed by the block and then the floor.
  8. After selecting the room type and the room number, HBS will display the occupancy status of the room.
  9. Student /Parent can select the room number based on the availability. If the room is occupied, the room number will not be displayed.
  10. On selecting the desired room they will receive an instant message regarding booking status to the mobile number and email id furnished.

Guide to UPI Payment (Paytm Gateway)
  • You should have logged into HBS just now or 10 Mins before.
  • [IN YOUR MOBILE PHONE] Your UPI Application (Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM etc) should have been already downloaded in your Mobile Phone((Android or IoS)). Log into your UPI Application using your Login Credentials before you start the room booking process.
  • After landing into the Paytm's Payment Gateway Page via Browser(Where you have logged into HBS2021), you should select BHIM UPI option(displayed in Left Side Panel of Paytm Gateway)
  • You can enter any of your UPI ID(Already Logged in) i.e. xxxxxx@yyy
  • On submission you will receive a SMS/Alert in the Mobile No. registered with your UPI(Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM etc) application.
  • [IN YOUR MOBILE PHONE] The SMS will contain an URL, click and it will redirect you to your UPI application which will request you to pay Rs.****/- to Vel Tech-****@paytm.
  • [IN YOUR UPI APP] Please click “Pay” button & enter your “UPI PIN” to complete the payment process.
  • Immediately you can go back to Payment page [IN YOUR BROWSER] which will automatically direct you back to our HBS dashboard by Booking your Hostel Room, and Sending Confirmation E-mail & SMS. Please do not click on any other Link/Button during this payment process.
  • Finally, you can View & download your Booking Confirmation Receipt from your HBS Dashboard.
  • The entire process should be completed WITHIN 20 MINS. Otherwise, you must Login once again to get a seamless service from Vel Tech HBS. Thanks for your cooperation.

  • After paying loan amount to Vel Tech Bank Account You are requested to send a requisition letter to Dean Hostels by mentioning your Choice of Hostel Room details. You can send mail to dhl@veltech.edu.in
  • It will take Atleast One Week to book a hostel room. So, you are supposed to mention 3 Room Numbers of your choice.
